Whether you're just starting to plan for a comprehensive project, or in the middle of one and need some expert guidance, this is your initial working session with Alix. Two focused hours to assess what you're currently working with, and determine the right path forward.
We meet and walk through your space, look at anything you have already pulled together, identify what is and is not working. This can serve as stand-alone consultation hours, or an initial intake meeting for a comprehensive project. For projects moving toward a remodel or full buildout, the meeting notes are developed into a full project scope and service recommendation. You leave with more than direction. You leave with a defined plan.

Review and assessment of active selections, materials, or finishes
Design direction, cohesion, and editing
Layout, flow, and spatial planning
Remodel decision support and scope development
Materials and finish direction
Full-home paint color strategy
Clear next steps and a written session summary
How It Works
Two-hour private session, in-person (virtual by request)
In-person sessions are available within 20 miles of Austin, TX. Travel beyond this area may require an additional trip fee.
A written summary follows the session, including notes, recommendations, and scope direction where applicable
If you move forward with a full-service engagement within 14 calendar days, the full $600 is credited toward your project. Consultations received through a fundraiser donation are not eligible for this credit.
Policy
This fee reserves dedicated time and preparation and is non-refundable. Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations or reschedule requests within 48 hours of the scheduled time are not eligible for a refund or credit.
This session does not include design development, drawings, specifications, purchasing, contractor coordination, or budget estimating.
